2011 General Choi Cup Toongabbie

Congratulations to our students from Toongabbie who competed in the General Choi Cup on 12 February 2011 –
Marlee Tyson, Luke Tyson, Daniel Rivers and Megh Araveeti. All students gave their best and should be proud of their achievements.
For Daniel, Megh and Luke this was their first tournament, so well done for taking that first step into competition.
I am also very pleased to be able to report that Daniel Rivers placed 3rd in his division of Junior Coloured Belt Sparring, and Luke Tyson placed 1st in his division of Junior Coloured Belt Sparring. Well done Daniel and Luke!!
Congratulations also to Marlee Tyson who has been training with the Australian Squad to compete in the female Team Pattern division at next month’s ITF World Championships in New Zealand. A team training session was held on Sunday 13th February and the team have been training hard and are looking forward to the event.
