Other members of the class who were grading for colour belts were also put through a rigorous assessment in front of a panel of senior Black belts.
Afterwards Master Daher took time to explain to the class that in order to achieve a promotion, all of the students must expect to be scrutinised much more closely on their technique and effort, not only at grading but also in their normal class training, as they continued to progress through the ranks to the more senior belt levels.
